True story… when I first started my stationery business I would buy my fancy card stock online and then take said card stock to Office Max to get printed. I would wait in long lines. They would likely mess things up and waste the card stock I brought in. They couldn’t print on heavy weights. Print quality was sometimes ehhhh. I’m sure they cringed every time they saw me coming. It was a huge time suck!
Then I would hand cut and hand score every single piece of card stock with an exacto knife and ruler and my Martha Stewart paper scorer from Michael’s. Thinking back on this process literally makes me cringe!! I was spinning my wheels in my business - spending all my time and energy on the WRONG things.
Once I discovered I could send thing to print online with options for quality card stock it was like the gates of heaven opened up and the angels sang down upon me!! (cue singing angels.) Mind you, this was all over 10 years ago. Seems like online printing companies are a lot more prevalent now, but now TOO many options!

What I love about Printswell that stands out: You can drop ship orders without it being totally obvious that you’re drop shipping. Printswell will allow you to print a few branded items for them to keep in stock and include with your orders upon request. (I use Kitty Meow branded stickers and fun thank you cards.) So when I do custom invitations I usually have them shipped directly to the customer. I can request to have them shipped in a nice gift box, include a branded Kitty Meow sticker, and an on brand Kitty Meow thank you note from me - without having to do any of the work myself! If drop shipping (aka not holding ANY inventory, only buying something when you get an order for it, and then shipping it directly to your customer is your jam) then Printed Mint is for YOU! They also let you pick up fun and on brand special little details to add to your packaging to make it look special, a.k.a. not like Amazon hastily through it in an oversized box.
PrintedMint.com has some great options for paper goodies, but then other items like cell phone cases, tote bags (Printed Mint sponsored the awesome tote bags for Ultimate Product Party!) apparel, and soooo much more! Definitely a great way to test the waters on a new product category before you go investing in bulk.
