Floral Silo: Styled Shoots Across America - Bismarck, North Dakota

When asked to do this styled shoot for Styled Shoots Across America in Bismarck, North Dakota I was so thrilled to jump on board! The color palette of french blue, dusty rose blush, and silver was totally my jam. Styled by Heather Benge and held at South Forty Events, with the help of all the fabulous vendors this shoot was a huge success! Check out all the gorgeous details below. Nothing sets the tone for an event quite like a beautiful table scape. The combination of rustic and dainty metallic details with soft, beautiful florals does this outdoor setting some serious justice.

Speaking of setting the tone for an event…nothing kicks off the tone for an event like a beautifully designing invitation suite. I truly had so much fun creating the stationery for this special day because it’s not something I normally get to do for my Kitty Meow brides. I hand tore the blush, cotton paper, to create that cotton rag look and even hand painted the edges for an additional luxe detail. It was a labor of love, but absolutely worth the effort. The laser cut details of the envelopes added that extra va-va-voom along with the watercolor, floral envelope liner. My personal design style is a mix of thoughtful, traditional typography with calligraphy details, and I loved being able to let that shine through in this suite.

One of the most precious moments during your wedding is professing, in-front of the world, your G-ma, Papa and your mother, the love for your soon-to-be spouse. Creating custom vows is a lovely, added touch and is sure to make anyone do a second take. While it’s more about the words you speak than how they look on paper, it sure is something special when BOTH are on point. A beautiful vow book sure is pretty Pinterest worthy, don’t you think!?

Who doesn’t love a stiff drink?! Well, me, but that’s beside the point! You can still admire a beautiful signature cocktails menu. There are so many ways to style a bar cart and this set up is simple yet absolutely glamorous.

All of the details of this styled shoot were thoughtfully crafted, down to the delicate flowers on the gorgeous cake. The watercolor vibe of the invitation carried over to the cake and it’s pretty perfection if you ask me! It’s almost too beautiful to actually eat!

What place setting is complete without a menu?! Adding a bunch of textures with greenery, linen, and your menu really takes it up a notch and makes your guests feel oh so special! These menus are individually adorn with a white, wax seal stamp. Subtle, but still a show stopper.

Let’s get a closer look of this beautiful menu! These paper edges were all hand torn to create the rough, cotton rag look. While time consuming, it was easy breezy! Put a ruler up against your card stock and tear against the grain. I imagine this works best with cotton paper where you have lots of paper fibers.

Let’s not forget some details for your main squeeze. Dress up the bride & groom’s chairs with a simple, but beautifully designed sign. Top it off with some gorgeous greenery for the win.

Not even the most lovely of bride’s go at it alone! A beautiful bridesmaid definitely makes the day, don’t you agree? I’m so in love with this bridesmaid dress that is so unique and totally outside the box of your typical bridesmaid dress. Makes me want to plan my own wedding all over again!

While a wedding is mostly about the happy couple, I also strongly feel it’s also about celebrating the people who love and support you on your big day, and EVERY day! Make your guests feel like a million bucks with a thoughtfully created place card. These hand torn, hand painted, and adorned with silk ribbon place cards are ones your guests will actually keep FOREVER.
